Thriller is a genre of fiction in which tough, resourceful, but essentially ordinary heroes are pitted against villains determined to destroy them, their country, or the stability of the free world.
Part of the allure of thrillers comes from not only what their stories are about, but also how they are told. High stakes, non-stop action, plot twists that both surprise and excite, settings that are both vibrant and exotic, and an intense pace that never lets up until the adrenalin packed climax.

Scouting locations Part2 The Cafe

After deciding on our secondary location to be a coffee shop we scouted out locations for this to take place.
At first it seemed the coffee shops were too nice for the atmosphere we were trying to achieve in our thriller opening; However after looking at the outskirts of town we came across a seemingly perfect location, Called North end cafe.

This was the first location we came across, however i gives too refined a feel.

Starbucks was our second find an although  it's a more possible location. I found it's still a far cry from the empty  rough cafe we
were looking for.

Now after finding this it held the majority of the factors we were looking for; but due to the glass front it gave in too much light. Which is unfitting for a thriller, therefore we had to pick a different location.

This was our finalized choice of cafe as it has all the factors I was looking for.
it gives off the feel of a working class cafe an therefore fits in with our characters.
Due to it's rough grimy appearance.

this cafe also gives the right lighting for our shots as it gives ideal limited lighting needed
for our thriller.
