Thriller is a genre of fiction in which tough, resourceful, but essentially ordinary heroes are pitted against villains determined to destroy them, their country, or the stability of the free world.
Part of the allure of thrillers comes from not only what their stories are about, but also how they are told. High stakes, non-stop action, plot twists that both surprise and excite, settings that are both vibrant and exotic, and an intense pace that never lets up until the adrenalin packed climax.

Location scouting

Our thriller opening takes place over two locations, A cafe and the street/ an estate, therefore i thought it a good idea to decide on these locations as quickly as possible.
below are a few examples of the locations i found could suit the plot line of our thriller and give the right feel to our piece.

This collage shows the possibility of using the location i felt would hold an impact before showing these to our group.  As you can see from the size the places i have favored in my production have been darker places. the necessity of an inclosed space for our location is my choice in was my reason for choosing the final place.

  1. What is it about these location that you think will work well? Think about the conventions of Thriller films, the mood you are trying to create etc
