In todays lesson we went over ways of dividing and grouping the audience to make it possible to maximize our possibilities with questionnaires and other types of audience research. An example of this is by using methods such as using social networking sights to spread our questions and get a larger group of answers.
The sheets below display ways we have as a possibility for grouping.
We grouped characters from the well known cartoon, The Simpsons into groups. the circles represent the groups which cross coordinate with the sheet above on the left.
As initial reserch into the film market before creating out video Me and my group came up with 5 questions to answer before completing our initial film idea.
Questions
- Who is phycological violence aimed at ( Target audience in the general population )
- Reflecting on the class system > Age, Costume, Accent, Region. (Who would best fir our film)
- Age Bracket
- Locations found threatening by public
- Gender
Don't forget that you need to do an audience survey of at least 15 people. Post the question you will ask, the results (as graphs if you can) and how that research will influence your work.
