Editing (II)

Today we edited together the majority of the first half of our thriller, however we realized halfway through the action doesn't fit together as we had hoped so after re-thinknig our shotlist we intend to put in a new set of shots which we will add after filming again later. Therefor I focused on placing together the majority of the estate shots, the missing shots  in todays lesson.

In the filming process there were also a few pieces of footage which were too unstable to use, this was due to our use of a improvised steadi-cam  when filming. Therefore when filming the remaining footage we are intending to use a borrowed steadi-cam.

Of the estate footage we put together these shots are the ones i believe to be most important.

We start the estate scene with a shot of the victim entering followed by a quick shot to the two sets of gang members, i believed this was a good way of starting. As it shows establishing shots of the majority of our characters setting up for the action.








By following this with match on action shots of the starting of our victim dragged out of the car I am hoping to give the sudden changes which are associated with thrillers Hopefully maknig the audience jump.
